The letter F in braille

F in braille is dots 1-2-4. A–J use only the top four dots (1, 2, 4, 5).
A capital F has the capital sign, dot 6, in the cell before it: ⠠⠋.
In Grade 2 (contracted) braille, f standing alone as a word means “from”.
After the number sign, f is the digit 6: ⠼⠋.
